This past Saturday night, a friend and a fellow artist passed away in a car accident. He was a very young and talented artist who had everything ahead of him....

I tattoo now...

Let me practice on you all.

Well...since a lot of people have been asking, I supposed I'll tell you a little about myself.

I'm Leilani, obviously, and yes...I'm half japanese and quite proud of it, I might add. My family history is amazing.

I just graduated high school from an academy where I majored in advanced art. I was planning on attending cosmetology school on a scholarship this fall, but I ended up having several great job offers thrown at me for a freelance graphic and web designer.

Currently, that's what I've been doing. I've been working with one of the companies since I was 16, and they've taught me more than school could possibly have. So, at this point, I'm not willing to shell out 42 grand to attend Ringling (dream school). Schools can't teach creativity; you have it or you don't.

For the time being, I live in South Carolina in a city infested with beach stores, pancake houses, and slow moving tourists. I have surfed almost everyday, even in the dead of winter, since I was 9. It's the one thing I'll miss the most here when I leave.

Hopefully this saturday I'll be well on my way to Chicago, which I will call my new home...

yes, that's right...art show. I better see all of you there that live with in a 300 mile radius of the Sheraton Hotel at the convention center in Myrtle Beach, SC. It's DECEMBER 17th...it's a saturday at 7:00 and goes to 10:30ish. It's $5 to get in and all proceeds go towards a scholarship fund the Round Table Art Group established for CCU. There is food and drinks but dress nice, jackets required...it's a big deal. I'll have some of my art work up for sale. There are some amazing artists here and it's definitely worth your $5 to get in.

Hey guys...yeah, so here's the deal. I'm moving to London, England in less than a year. I'm trying to find good art schools for graphic design out there so if any one can give me help, that would be much appreciated. So i'll be moving out there and majoring in graphic design and my friend that is moving with me is going to apprentice me in tattooing. Life will be sweet. I'm goign with the flow. This whole idea was just a fluke adn a random idea. But we're doing it.
